The Bridges and Structures Practice is seeking a Bridge Inspection Engineer in Portland, or Salem, OR, Bellevue, Olympia, Seattle, Spokane, or Tacoma, WA, Denver, CO, Boise, ID, or Salt Lake City, UT . Our national Bridge Inspection and Preservation Group is hiring for a Bridge Inspection Engineer to support transportation related projects in multiple markets. An optimal candidate will have experience with bridge inspection and bridge load rating practices, as well as bridge design experience. In this role, you will perform tasks and procedures necessary to plan and execute bridge and tunnel inspection work orders and stand-alone projects. You will also perform structural analyses and develop calculations using the AASHTO Manual for Bridge Evaluation and other codes for structural load ratings. Additionally, a successful candidate will have knowledge of bridge design procedures and AASHTO LRFD and Standard Specifications. Typical projects will include bridge and tunnel inspections for reinforced concrete and prestressed concrete, steel, and timber structures, as well as load ratings for bridges of all types and sizes.
