We aren't just selling food; we’re fueling our community. We are looking for a  General Manager who is passionate about health, leadership, and operational excellence to lead our team.

The Role

As the General Manager, you are the heartbeat of the restaurant. You aren't just \managing\ a shift; you are owning the business. You will be responsible for the store’s financial health, the development of your team, and ensuring that every guest who walks through our doors has an exceptional experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operational Excellence & Quality Control

• Maintain the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness, and organization.
• Ensure every bowl and toast leaves the line looking and tasting perfect.
• Manage inventory levels and vendor relationships to ensure we are always stocked with the freshest ingredients.

2. Financial Performance (The Bottom Line)

• Labor Management: Create and manage weekly schedules that balance labor costs with peak-hour demands.
• COGS Control: Monitor food waste and portion control to maintain healthy food cost margins.
• P&L Accountability: Analyze monthly profit and loss statements to identify areas for growth and efficiency.

3. People Leadership

• Recruit, hire, and train a high-performing team that aligns with Honest Eatery’s values.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-energy work culture.
• Provide consistent feedback, coaching, and performance reviews to help your team grow.

4. Community & Marketing

• Local Store Marketing: Actively look for ways to grow the brand within Salt Lake City.
• Community Connection: Build relationships with local gyms, businesses, and influencers to drive catering and foot traffic.
• Social Engagement: Work with the ownership team to ensure our local presence is vibrant and engaging.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 2+ years of restaurant management experience (Fast Casual preferred).
• Mindset: A \proactive\ rather than \reactive\ leader. You see a problem and fix it before it impacts the guest.
• Communication: Clear, professional, and empathetic communication skills.
• Tech Savvy: Comfortable with POS systems, scheduling software (like 7shifts or Homebase), and basic Excel/G-Suite.
• Availability: Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends and holidays, as the business requires.
