Overview :
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in managing SDLC projects and a solid understanding of SOX compliance and IT security controls. The role requires someone who can bridge project execution with compliance and technical security requirements, ensuring systems and processes align with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities :
• Lead and manage SDLC projects with strict adherence to SOX and IT General Controls (ITGC).
• Work with engineering, security, and audit teams to embed SOX controls into project deliverables.
• Oversee implementation of key security controls such as access management, change management, logging/monitoring, and incident response as they relate to SOX.
• Ensure evidence collection, testing readiness, and audit trail documentation for SOX compliance.
• Track and mitigate project risks, especially around compliance gaps, control failures, or security vulnerabilities.
Qualifications :
• Proven experience in project management within SDLC environments (Agile/Waterfall).
• Strong knowledge of SOX compliance, ITGC, and security control frameworks.
• Familiarity with identity and access management, privileged access, change/configuration management, and security monitoring.
• Experience working with audit teams and supporting control testing/remediation.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
• PMP, CSM, or similar certifications preferred; CISA, CISM, or security certifications are a plus.
