About the Job:
Austintown Pediatrics Inc.

  • MA with current certification
  • Austintown, Ohio.
  • Full-time, 4-5 days/week
  • Part-time, 2-3 days/week
  • Medical office experience required
  • Medical Billing experience preferred
  • Pay based on experience


Austintown Pediatrics is hiring an experienced medical office receptionist. This position requires excellent attendance, punctuality, and accountability. Extra consideration given if you have experience with or willing to work with our billing department.

This position is a good fit if you:
  • Have prior medical office experience (required).

  • Understand that patient care and the success of the practice depends on showing up every day
  • Work well in a structured, fast-paced office with clear expectations.

This position is NOT a good fit if you:

  • Have frequent call-offs, late arrivals, or attendance issues.

  • Do not interact well with others

Schedule & Hours:

  • Monday-Friday.
  • 7:45 am - 5:30 pm.
  • 7:45 am - 4:30 pm in the summer.
  • Enjoy true work-life balance with no evenings or weekends required.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow telephone triage protocols
  • Communicate with patients’ family to provide results, instructions, advice and relay information to practitioners in an accurate and timely manner
  • Schedule patients
  • Faxing, referrals, taking payments, facilitating patient communication with providers.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Strong desire to work with pediatric demographic.
  • Maintain an upbeat, encouraging demeanor.
  • Ability to undertake a variety of care tasks and prioritize efficiently.
  • Determination to learn and accurately follow the practice's policies and procedures 
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Dependability with attendance and transportation.
  • Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

License/Certification:

  • BLS Certification (Required).
  • Current MA certification (Required)
