The Occupational Therapist provides skilled evaluation and rehabilitation services to patients in their home environment. This role includes direct patient care, care coordination, documentation, supervision, and patient/family education in compliance with Medicare regulations and agency policies.

• Hours: 40 hours per week
• FTE: 1.0
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Territory: Missoula, MT and surrounding service area

All-Inclusive Rate: $85.00/hr

• Taxable Rate: $53.85/hr
• Non-Taxable Stipend : $31.15/hr

• Weekly Gross: $3,400/week

  • Taxable: $2,154/week
  • Non-Taxable: $1,246/week

• Evaluate patients and establish individualized plans of care in the home setting
• Provide skilled OT interventions per physician orders and care plans
• Complete evaluations, re-evaluations (30-day functional assessments), and treatments using evidence-based practice
• Accurately score and complete CMS OASIS assessments and collaborate with Quality team
• Maintain compliance with Medicare regulations and Conditions of Participation
• Participate in interdisciplinary case conferences and communicate with physicians and care teams
• Complete point-of-care documentation in Homecare Homebase (HCHB)
• Maintain productivity standards, time logs, and mileage per agency policy
• Coordinate daily schedules and optimize travel routes
• Supervise OTA services and conduct required supervisory visits
• Participate in QA/PI initiatives and agency education programs
• Maintain licensure, CE requirements, and ethical practice standards

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Active Montana OT license
• Valid driver's license and appropriate auto insurance
• Home Health experience preferred
• Minimum 2 years of OT experience preferred
• Comfortable with independent field work and home-based care
