Lincoln Transportation LLC, a leader in the transportation and logistics industry, is excited to announce an opening for a dedicated and dynamic OTR Class A Driver, SAP Friendly. The position offered is Full-Time and based on over-the-road operations, requiring the selected candidate to manage routes and deliveries that extend beyond local boundaries.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely transport and delivery of goods to predetermined customers on specific routes, reviewing orders prior to delivery, loading and unloading trucks, and providing exceptional service to our customers. This is not a remote job and requires physical presence and the ability to manage extensive travel schedules effectively.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Drive long distances across the country to deliver goods to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain and uphold the safety protocols during transport, ensuring secure loading and unloading of cargo.
• Monitor and report any route changes or delivery disruptions to dispatch immediately.
• Perform vehicle inspections before and after each trip, and report any maintenance or repair needs.
• Adhere to company operating policies and procedures as well as state and federal regulations regarding transport and safety.
• Manage all necessary documentation and logs associated with deliveries and travel.
• Ensure the highest level of professionalism and communication when dealing with clients and customers.
• Utilize SAP systems to maintain detailed records of travel, delivery, and maintenance.
• Engage with logistics planning teams to optimize routes and improve delivery efficiencies.
• Handle unforeseen situations professionally using problem-solving skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Valid Class A driver's license.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in over-the-road driving.
• SAP Drivers to manage logistics and supply chain activities.
• Ability to manage extended trips and adapt to variable schedules including weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of national driving regulations and state laws.
• Physical ability to handle heavy cargo and assist in loading and unloading.
• Excellent organizational skills to record and maintain accurate delivery logs and reports.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with team members and customers.
• Comprehensive problem-solving skills to address and resolve unexpected issues effectively and efficiently.
• Commitment to maintaining safe driving records and following all safety guidelines.
