The Basics of a Teller:
What youll do as a Teller:
In the Teller role you are the face of the credit union. You will create a top-tier experience for our members by processing transactions building relationships and educating members on products and services that support their financial needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Create exceptional member experiences in the branch drive-thru and over the phone.
Learn and maintain knowledge of credit union products services policies and procedures.
Process member transactions including payments deposits withdrawals and transfers.
Sell money orders stamps cashiers checks and gift cards. Redeem savings bonds.
Balance your assigned cash drawer daily.
Process address changes check orders and foreign currency orders.
Create debit cards for members.
Assist members with accessing their safe deposit boxes.
Complete branch opening and end-of-day procedures.
Actively participate in volunteer events through our Greater Good program.
Support risk mitigation by:
Following established security protocols.
Complying with BSA/AML policies and completing required training within 90 days and annually thereafter.
Complete compliance and development training as assigned.
Perform other duties as needed.
