The Basics of a Teller:

• Located at 6318 Callaghan Road San Antonio TX 78229
• Weekly schedules will be set between the hours of Monday thru Friday 8:00 am to 5:30 pm.

What youll do as a Teller:

In the Teller role you are the face of the credit union. You will create a top-tier experience for our members by processing transactions building relationships and educating members on products and services that support their financial needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create exceptional member experiences in the branch drive-thru and over the phone.

• Learn and maintain knowledge of credit union products services policies and procedures.

• Process member transactions including payments deposits withdrawals and transfers.

• Sell money orders stamps cashiers checks and gift cards. Redeem savings bonds.

• Balance your assigned cash drawer daily.

• Process address changes check orders and foreign currency orders.

• Create debit cards for members.

• Assist members with accessing their safe deposit boxes.

• Complete branch opening and end-of-day procedures.

• Actively participate in volunteer events through our Greater Good program.

• Support risk mitigation by:

  • Following established security protocols.

  • Complying with BSA/AML policies and completing required training within 90 days and annually thereafter.

• Complete compliance and development training as assigned.

• Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications :

Must Haves as a Teller:

• Skills: Customer Service Verbal Communication Attention to Detail Tech Literacy.
• Experience: 1 year experience in a customer-centric role.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Nice to Haves as a Teller:

• Experience: 6 months of cash handling is strongly preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish & English.
