R&D Partners is seeking to hire a Research Associate II in South San Francisco, CA.
Your main responsibilities as a Research Associate II :
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our dynamic and fast-paced environment to support this mission.
The primary focus of this hands-on laboratory position will be to implement and apply molecular biology and biochemistry techniques, namely phage display, to support the antibody discovery process.
The successful candidate will work closely with Antibody Engineering scientists to deploy the above approaches to help discover novel antibodies for application across broad, multi-functional efforts geared towards therapeutic development.
What we are looking for in a Research Associate II:
B.S./B.A. degree or higher in biology, chemistry, or related field
5-10 years of relevant industrial experience, ideally in a drug discovery setting
Basic biochemistry and/or molecular biology lab skills, including:
RNA isolation
Bacterial culture
Phage display - PCR and ELISA (not required, but would set a candidate apart. This is the primary function of this role, but RRP is willing to train the right candidate)
