POSITIONS STILL AVAILABLE $23.00 per hour ABQ and Santa Fe

We are looking to hire knowledgeable security guards to provide a safe environment for our growing organization. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently, commuting between Santa Fe and Albuquerque possess a strong attention to detail and be able to excel in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides general public safety services for the protection of guests and equipment in area.
• Inspects assigned areas for public safety and/or safety breaches and reports any potential situations to supervisor/first responders.
• Inform emergency first responders in case of fire, presence of unauthorized persons or other unforeseen emergencies.
• Observe and report all unusual occurrences and incidents within designated area.
• Must follow all safety policies and procedures and attend scheduled safety meetings and training as a condition of employment.
• This position is not limited to those duties listed in the job description. Duties and responsibilities can be changed, expanded, reduced or deleted to meet business needs of the company.
• Observe safety and security rules and regulations in the workplace.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance.
• Report to work on time.
• Comprehend the district's rules and regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Experience as a Public Safety Officer, Security Officer, Military or Law Enforcement with report writing experience is a plus.
• Preferred: valid New Mexico Driver's License
• Must possess customer service and communication skills.
• Must have ability to use good judgment in intense and non-intense situations.
• Must have a professional demeanor and a well groomed appearance.
• Must be able to follow all instructions, written and oral.

• Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
• Security: 1 year (Preferred)

License:

• Security Guard Card (Required)
• If you do not have an active NM Guard Card we can rearrange a class for you to attend
