Little Apple Podiatry is looking for a hands on Medical Assistant/Medical Nail Tech to join the team! This role will work directly with our doctor to support our new and existing patients on the Clinical Operations team. You will help us maximize efficiecy by assisting with completion of medical documenation and hands on patient care.

Responsibilities

• Complete medical documentation in EMR
• Send referrals
• Send prescriptions
• Ensure physician notes and necessary follow up are completed
• Hands on assistance in the treatment rooms including assising with procedures and wound care.
• Preferred - Licensed Nail Technicians will provide hands on care

Requirements

• Deliver excellent customer service to our patients to create a pleasant atmostphere
• Accurately and securely handle highly confidential patient data - Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
• Ability to successfully work with different personality types
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Must be able to work independently
• Attention to Detail
• Most important requirement is a personality that exudes empathy & compassion toward the patients and staff
